NGK Spark Plugs ME Reaffirms Its Support For UAE Motorsport 7 Years Running

Dubai, UAE, 24 July 2017: With Motorsport moving from strength-to-strength in the United Arab Emirates, NGK Spark Plugs Middle East and Dubai Autodrome LLC have united once again to ensure the ever-popular NGK Racing Series remains a prominent feature of National Race Days.

The loyal and long term partnership now moves into its seventh year which will kick off on October 27th 2017 for the first Championship round of 2017-2018 Motorsport season.

Launched in September 2011 the NGK Racing Series has become the heart and soul of National Race Days.  It features three racing series combined into one grid, with GTs, Touring Cars and Clio Cup cars all battling it out together in one race.  Points are awarded for each round and class champions are crowned at the end of the season.

NGK is not just a series sponsor; the company also shows it enthusiastic support by hosting a tent in the race paddock at every National Race Day and also at the renowned Hankook 24H Dubai.  NGK ambassadors hand out trophies to the winning drivers and the endearing NGK Spark Plug mascots are icons of the start grid.

We are delighted to once again be working with NGK Spark Plugs ME. The 2017/18 motorsport season promises to be the best season yet and having NGK Spark Plugs ME at our side only makes the season much stronger and more attractive for teams, competitors and fans.” said Richard Birch, General Manager of Dubai Autodrome.

Mr. Hideaki Nakashima, Managing Director of NGK Spark Plugs ME added, “By building loyal partnerships with companies such as Dubai Autodrome, it gives us the opportunity to enhance our brand value and leverage the passion of the motorsport industry through to our partners, customers, and staff.”

Marketing Manager of NGK Spark Plugs Middle East, Muhammad Iqbal continues “NGK Spark Plugs Middle East has been a loyal partner and ambassador of UAE Motorsport for 7 years now and we look forward to another exciting season ahead”.
