Dubai, UAE, 16 October 2020: Ramez Azzam secured pole position for championship leader Motorsport Wheels (#7), putting the team in great position to fight for the win in the third round of the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship Powered by EBC Brakes.
Azzam clocked in a best lap time 1:12.678 on the Reverse Links Circuit at Dubai Kartdrome on Friday morning (16 October), beating sister team EBC Brakes (#6) to pole position by a mere hundredth of a second.

Is there any team capable of beating Romaldo Labroy, Ramez Azzam and Maz Nawaz of Motorsport Wheels? That will be the big question for Round Three, and there may only be a few teams up to the challenge.

EBC Brakes, with drivers Anjum Shaikh, Arjun Manjunath and Kyle Kumaran, have finished in second place behind Motorsport Wheels in each of the previous two rounds, and is probably the best squad to hijack a victory.

Also keep an eye on Brand Racing (#10), with racers Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, Danny Brand, Guy Sheffield and Tony Hogg. The team started in P3 on the grid, and these veteran drivers have plenty of collective experience to get the job done.

Fly Emirates 2 (#18), with Darshane Dayaratne, Anthony Shanouk, Jiby Kuriakose and Yahidy Chady, secured fourth position, which was well ahead of other Corporate category rivals.
