Energy Dubai Awarded

Dubai, UAE, 6 May 2018:  On behalf of Energy Dubai, Kevin Day accepted a special recognition award from Dubai Autodrome GM Faisal Al Sahlawi and Dubai Kartdrome Manager David Bright on Thursday (3 May).

Dubai Autodrome honoured the high level of support that Energy Dubai has provided in all levels of UAE motorsport for the past five years.  Energy Dubai is the only team in the UAE to assist drivers from the earliest stages of karting all the way into the upper ranks of racing, providing a seamless transition from series to series.

Dubai Kartdrome Manager David Bright said, “With Energy Dubai young drivers can start with Bambino Cup, move up into one of the national series, IAME or Rotax, and then eventually into the Formula 4 UAE Championship, the pinnacle of national racing.”

“Right now Energy Dubai is only team providing that ladder from beginner to advanced motorsport disciplines in the UAE.  We wanted to acknowledge the team’s efforts,” Bright added.

Energy Dubai will continue to build the future of local motorsport.  The team is now based in the newly completed Motorsport Business Park, located at the heart of the main circuit at Dubai Autodrome.
