Dubai, UAE, 29 April 2021: The 2021 Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship Powered by EBC Brakes kicks off Friday evening (30 April) at 10.30pm, with 30 teams set to challenge the first of four rounds this year.
Round one will take place on the International Circuit at Dubai Kartdrome, with seven hours of endurance kart racing to determine the winner.
Dubai Kartdrome Manager David Bright said, “Once again we have to thank EBC Brakes for backing this edition of the 2021 Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship. Their commitment to the series over the last three seasons has helped it grow each year. We have a very strong field of 30 teams for the opening round on Friday, with two teams who have travelled in from Europe, who will be one of the several teams expected to fight for victory.”
The drivers of the 2020 Championship team, Motorsport Wheels, will return to the grid as team EBC Brakes and will be full of high expectations for the opening race.
Rising star Superdryver Asterios, having claimed the final round of last year, is returning to Dubai Kartdrome with the intention of challenging all four rounds and going for the Overall championship.
Bright added, “There are some seasoned campaigners out there and there really is no room for error. I predict that the team with the best strategy, who make no mistakes will celebrate on the top step of the Kartdrome podium.”
