Dubai, UAE, 27 April 2018: Mohammad Matar of Emirates Pro put in the decisive lap on the new Links Circuit at Dubai Kartdrome to get his team on pole position and LD Russian hits P5 to top all Corporate and Nations Cup teams.

The brand-new configuration has proven to be quite a challenge for all 34 teams on the grid, and only three team dipped below the 1:15 mark in qualifying. Matar secured pole for Emirates Pro with a best lap time of 1:14.406, followed closely by Cambridge Middle East Group in P2 and last round’s winner, Bin Drai Karting Team in P3.

The all-Russian squad of LD Russia upset the current Corporate leaders, Team Emirates, to top both the Corporate and Nations Cup categories.

The teams will have brave 600 laps and over twelve hours of racing to see who comes out on top. The best team will require the greatest stamina, strategy and, of course, speed.
