Dubai, UAE, 18 January 2018: Top kart racers from the region and around the world will be coming to Dubai Kartdrome on Friday (19 January) to compete in the two-day 2018 Dubai O Plate championship.
Notable entries include CIK-FIA World Champion Pedro Hiltbrand, who will compete in both the IAME X30 Senior and IAME X30 Shifter categories.
The renowned Al Qubaisi family will also be well represented, with former 24H Dubai winner Khaled Al Qubaisi challenging the IAME X30 Shifter category. Amna Al Qubaisi will also be competing in the shifters, while Hamda Al Qubaisi will be taking on the ultra-competitive IAME X30 Senior grid.
Veteran champs Rami Azzam and Jakob Robinson will also be looking to claim a Senior title, while Alex Connor, Kyle Kumaran, Kamal Agha and Hugo Gid should be favourites in the IAME X30 Junior category.

Track action kicks off at 9.40am on Friday (19 January) with Qualifying. The IAME Bambino Cup will be decided by that evening, and all other categories will finish Pre-Finals and the Grand Finals on Saturday (20 January). The final prize giving is schedule for 15.15.
